Karin Andrews, Realtor with Shaheen, Ruth, Martin & Fonville Real Estate
Karin Andrews is passionate about and inspired by old homes and gardens, by breathtaking water views, rolling pastoral landscapes, towering trees and ancient boxwood. She has successfully represented sellers and purchasers of iconic historic, waterfront and equestrian properties throughout the Northern Neck, Middle Peninsula, Central Virginia and Shenandoah Valley.
With a background as an architectural illustrator, former horsewoman, muralist, accomplished writer, photographer and one who lives on a large inland farm with a family home on the Chesapeake Bay, at Wicomico Church, she understands and appreciates the needs of a wide variety of sellers and purchasers. Karin is married to Essex County native, William Forrest Andrews, who is her partner in life and in Real Estate. They reside in Upper Essex County, at Oakland Farm and have two grown daughters, ages 33 and 21 and one sweet grandson.
Karin is an advocate for Historic Preservation and Land Conservation. She serves on the Boards of The Essex County Conservation Alliance as a Director, The Essex County Museum, The Tappahannock Artists Guild and The Chesapeake Bay Governors School Education Foundation as a Director. A true people person, connector and “go to” in the Region, she represents her clients in a manner that is unequaled in her industry niche.
