Tucker Greer
With over 15 years of real estate experience, Tucker has compiled an impressive group of listings and sales throughout the Richmond Metropolitan area. A graduate of the University of Richmond, Tucker spent a number of years working on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, before moving back to where he knew he’d always end up – The Fan. Tucker’s love and knowledge of the classic homes in his neighborhood has served to benefit his clients who choose to live in this historic area.
A New Englander at heart, Tucker’s childhood was spent in the small coastal town of Yarmouth, Maine, and his family hails from the Boston area. Finally sick of the winters, he chose UR for college and decided to stay down south after graduation. He moved back to Richmond in 2004 and was a stay at home father and preschool teacher until he moved into real estate in 2007.
Family means everything to Tucker. He is married to his college sweetheart Susy, an executive at the Treasury Department and an active member of the Fan Woman’s Club. They have two daughters, Campbell and Josie who attend Hanover High and Maggie Walker Governor’s school respectively. His father, Dr. Peter R. Greer is a lifelong educator, going from teacher to superintendent to Under Secretary of Education in the Reagan Administration to the Dean of Education at Boston University and finally as headmaster of the prestigious Montclair Kimberly Academy in New Jersey. Dr. Greer moved to the Museum District recently to be close to Tucker and his family and has become a regular presenter at the University of Richmond OSHR program. Tucker’s mother-in-law, Polly Brickman, lives close by and is an active sustainer in the Junior League of Richmond and volunteer extraordinaire at many local Richmond organizations.
Tucker enjoys cooking, music, breweries, running and all the festivals and events that seem to occur every weekend in the Richmond Region. A lover of all sports, he holds a special place in his heart for all the Boston teams, but especially, and occasionally, unfortunately, the Red Sox.
