We called her at 4:00p on a Sunday and surprised her with "this is crazy, but we're ready to make an offer on a house!" She met us at the house 30 minutes later and by 8 that night, we had made our offer. Catie guided us through the whole (whirlwind!) process and made us feel very comfortable and well-informed even though we were first-time home buyers. We interviewed three realtors before picking Peggy Smolko to see our house. She recommended the highest listing price of the three and even though we did have to drop the price at one point, she obtained a selling price that was higher than any of the other brokers' starting points. She is very knowledgeable, very conversant with the use of technology and social media to advertise our home. We were working long-distance since we had moved to another state at the outset of the listing, so she had to essentially keep an eye on the house for us and take care of things that an on-site homeowner would have done.
