In 2008 we worked with Nelson to find our first house. Nelson was exceedingly patient with us – I cannot count the number of houses we went to see over those several months of searching! As first time home buyers, we had lots of ideas about what we wanted, but Nelson helped us balance out our wants versus our needs. Nelson gave us great advice about what it would realistically cost to make any changes to the many houses we toured. (Despite what we had initially thought, we were NOT up to the challenge of a fixer-upper.) He did a wonderful job helping us weigh the pros and cons of each home we saw. Nelson was very supportive, and we never felt pressure to settle for a house we weren’t completely happy with. He was just as excited as we were when we found a house we loved. Four and a half years later, we are happy to call the house he helped us find a home as we enjoying sharing it with our friends and growing family.

Very Attentive

Mary was very attentive through our prolonged housing search. It included numerous viewings, multiple contracts, and an attempt to buy a short sale. Experience Could Not Have Been Better

Our experience with Catie Wilton could not have been better. As a life-long Richmond resident, she understands the market and knows the areas of town better than any other agent with whom I have dealt. I would find a house on the most out-of-the-way streets, she would instantly be able to tell me everything about the neighborhood and whether it was a property we should consider. As one would hope, she is honest and frank about issues to consider and the pros and cons of one option versus another, even if she knew it was not something we wanted to hear. When problems arose after our inspection and required a negotiation with the sellers, followed by inspection of the repair process, Catie handled everything. We are very busy and did not have time to oversee the process, and knowing that Catie was on-site throughout the repairs to make sure our needs were addressed was invaluable. Without that level of service we may have had to walk away from our dream home simply because we couldn't be sure that the repairs would be done right. I hope I never have to move again, but if I do, I will be calling Catie.
