To be honest, it can appear easy to be a real estate agent, but this personal experience as a first-time seller has illustrated the knowledge and professionalism you must have to close a sale. Carrington was very impressive. She really took charge in a non-invasive way in several key aspects, maintained her ground by adhering to her schedule and being fair to all involved. Carrington is a personal friend to both Haywood and myself, which can be a bit stressful when it comes to business, and I am very proud to say that she did an excellent job – did not cross boundaries or take anything personally, and went above and beyond to accommodate us as the sellers and several agents whom represented buyers. Needless to say, we had five strong offers the first weekend on the market. Carrington was very impressive negotiating that evening, and crossed her “t’s” and dotted her “i’s” by calling the bank/lenders to make sure the offer we went with was going to close quickly. I could say much more on Carrington’s stellar performance. 5 stars!!!!!

Read this carefully, but only if you are interested in finding an amazing and professional real estate team. If you’re in the market for a realtor, your search should end at Randy and Jodi Haufe with Shaheen, Ruth, Martin and Fonville. I could not recommended them more highly. I had the unfortunate circumstance of helping my father list his home in Williamsburg while he was living with me in Ohio during what turned out to be the last few weeks of his life. Randy and Jodi were extremely caring and compassionate through the listings agreement, assisting with preparing the property, packing up and moving (during a tropical storm) process, to coming soon marketing, listing and showing the property, and organizing and presenting offers. They were tremendous in helping me navigate the numerous obstacles that arose following my father’s passing shortly after entering into a sales contract. They absolutely went above and beyond throughout the process to ensure all the details were addressed to complete the sale on schedule all while the transactions were occurring with the seller being out of state. They anticipated potential issues and were right on top of everything with prepared options and solutions ready every step of the way. They truly were a pleasure to work with even during a very difficult circumstance. They truly are an amazing and committed team that will treat you like family. You will not regret this decision!!
