Last fall my husband and I decided to sell our house. We heard from friends and family members about what a bad time it was to put a house on the market. I had been visiting nearby neighborhoods where we were considering buying, and I had seen houses sitting for three to four months before selling or being taken off the market. My mother’s house had been on the market for five months with no lookers. So imagine how excited I was when our house sold in just three and a half WEEKS! We have Monica to thank for that. She is an incredibly hard working Realtor. In the first week that we were “staged” and ready to be seen, she scheduled a caravan and an open house. She was in contact with me about every other day with ideas and innovative ways to get the word out about my house. Meeting Jarrod Houp was an incredible and extremely fortunate twist of fate. My wife and I decided to finally settle-down. I joined the USAF shortly after graduating from college. From that point we spent the next 25 years moving to numerous locations throughout our great county. After retiring from the military, we moved several more times. At this stage being 72 y/o, we have decided to take permanent residence in Virginia were our three sons and grandchildren live.
